Extra Mile Basketball NJ

Extra Mile Basketball NJ is an elite youth basketball training program based in Lyndhurst, NJ, serving athletes ages 7–18 across Bergen, Essex, and Hudson County. We specialize in small-group and private performance training led by Coach James, an internationally experienced basketball coach with 17 years of experience and over 2,000 athletes trained across three continents. Our program develops the complete player — ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, basketball IQ, leadership, and mental toughness. We train athletes across three age groups: Grades 2–5 (Ages 7–10), Grades 6–8 (Ages 11–13), and Grades 9–12 (Ages 14–18). We offer flexible weekly training packages designed to accommodate different schedules and budgets — from a single drop-in session to a full monthly commitment. All skill levels are welcome, but athletes must come ready to work. Extra Mile Basketball is not for everyone. Our Summer Camp 2026 is now open for registration. Packages start at $85 for 1 day up to $375 for the full 5-day experience, with 2 hours of high-intensity performance training per session. SECAUCUS, NJ — Sydney "Syd" Millevoi, 23, the hometown Secaucus girl who is competing on "The Voice," will sing at town hall Tuesday evening. Millevoi will sing inside Council chambers at the Council meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, said Mayor Mike Gonnelli. The town organized this to celebrate her because she made it to the final nine contestants on the hit show, which airs Monday evenings at 9 p.m. on NBC. Everyone is welcome to attend.She is coached by John Legend on the show. Millevoi grew up in Secaucus and still lives in town today. She attended Secaucus public schools and High Tech High School. She is a 2024 graduate of NJCU, where she is currently getting her master's degree.
