Extra Mile Basketball NJ

Extra Mile Basketball NJ is an elite youth basketball training program based in Lyndhurst, NJ, serving athletes ages 7–18 across Bergen, Essex, and Hudson County. We specialize in small-group and private performance training led by Coach James, an internationally experienced basketball coach with 17 years of experience and over 2,000 athletes trained across three continents. Our program develops the complete player — ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, basketball IQ, leadership, and mental toughness. We train athletes across three age groups: Grades 2–5 (Ages 7–10), Grades 6–8 (Ages 11–13), and Grades 9–12 (Ages 14–18). We offer flexible weekly training packages designed to accommodate different schedules and budgets — from a single drop-in session to a full monthly commitment. All skill levels are welcome, but athletes must come ready to work. Extra Mile Basketball is not for everyone. Our Summer Camp 2026 is now open for registration. Packages start at $85 for 1 day up to $375 for the full 5-day experience, with 2 hours of high-intensity performance training per session. What they are collecting is:<ul><li>Diapers</li><li>Children/baby clothing</li><li>Powder formula</li><li>Monetary donations</li><li>Small toys/books</li></ul> The town asks residents to drop off those items to 145 Front Street. The Volksfest kicks off at&nbsp;2:00 p.m.&nbsp;in the Ratskeller with music by&nbsp;Bud &amp; Linda,&nbsp;dance performances by&nbsp;Bayern Verein Newark,&nbsp;and a hot buffet until 5:00 p.m. The fun continues outside in the Bier Garten where the&nbsp;Adlers&nbsp;will be playing from&nbsp;3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is $25&nbsp;in advance($30 at door) and includes a free drink ticket and a Volksfest buffet of Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, Chicken Schnitzel Fingers, Mini Pretzels, Potato Pancakes, mixed green salad, and smoked eel.
