Secaucus Motel Room Used For Identity Theft Scheme, Police Say
Secaucus police arrested 3 people over the weekend and charged them with running a credit card/identity theft scheme out of the Holiday Inn.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus police arrested three people over the weekend and charged them with running a credit card and identity theft scheme out of a motel room at the Holiday Inn, which is located over in the Harmon Meadow section, near the Houlihan's and movie theater.
A little after midnight on Saturday, Nov. 24, Secaucus police were tipped off about possible criminal activity inside the Holiday Inn, at 300 Plaza Drive. Three people inside the motel room, two men and a woman, were found in possession of stacks of gift cards, fraudulent credit cards and fraudulent driver's licenses with their photos on them, police said.

In total, Secaucus police said they found mail, credit cards and driver's licenses of more than 50 victims.
Jeramiah Wills, 49 of Jersey City was detained.

Wills was also found in possession of stolen pieces of mail likely to be used to create the fraudulent credit cards and driver’s licenses, police said. An embosser and printer used to make fraudulent credit cards were seized from the motel room, along with numerous blank cards that are commonly used as actual credit cards.
All three were taken Hudson County Correctional Facility.
