Vo-Tech Students Cook Dinner For Secaucus Seniors

Culinary Arts majors at High Tech High School (their campus is by Laurel Hill) hosted a dinner Tuesday night for 100 Secaucus seniors.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Culinary Arts majors at High Tech High School (the Hudson County vo-tech school, which now has its campus in Secaucus) hosted a dinner for Secaucus senior citizens on Tuesday evening at their brand-new campus by Laurel Hill.

Roughly 100 Secaucus residents attended, along with Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli, members of the Town Council and the Hudson County Sheriff's Department.

“It's important for us to give back to the community we now call home, especially during the holiday season,” said High Tech's Acting Superintendent Amy Lin-Rodriguez. “Hosting this event at our state-of-the-art facility gave our students the opportunity to serve an impressive and delicious dinner to Secaucus senior citizens while offering them a hands-on experience as they continue to perfect their culinary skills.”
