This Week At American Dream: Meet Mr. And Mrs. Met, And The NJ Devil Mascot

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — American Dream is continuing their World Cup watch parties this week, July 6 - 12, and the mall has a lot more planned.

What's planned:

Event: New York Mets Day and Team USA Watch Party

Date: July 6

Start Time 1 p.m.

The NY Mets are joining the celebration with appearances by Mr. & Mrs. Met, giveaways and games. Starting at 8 p.m. Monday, the mall will host a watch party for the USA vs. Belgium World Cup soccer game. Game starts at 8 p.m.

For the game, American Dream will be giving away official U.S. team mini scarves, clappers and wearable flags courtesy of U.S. Soccer. There will also be jerseys given away .

Event: Argentina and Colombia Watch Parties

Date: July 7

Start Time 11 a.m.

Good vibes with Lulu & Lala are back bringing fun, giveaways and fan celebrations. Giveaways include Messi jerseys via Adidas.

Event: New Jersey Devils Takeover

Date: July 9

Start time: 2 p.m.

NJ Devils join the action with games, giveaways and a mascot appearance.

Event: Quarterfinals (Hopefully a USA Watch party)

NJ Youth Soccer is bringing hands‑on clinics, podcasts and great giveaways for kids of all ages to enjoy together.

Event: Panini World Record Sticker Swap (Court A)

Panini America, the world’s largest sports and entertainment collectibles company and the exclusive trading card and sticker partner of the FIFA World Cup, is inviting fans and collectors in the New York City area to take part in an official Guinness World Records title attempt for the Largest Sports Sticker Exchange in 8 Hours (multi-venue) on Sunday, July 12, from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. EST. The attempt will take place simultaneously across five locations in the United States and Mexico, including Rockefeller Center’s South Plaza in New York City, American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ. And three cities in Mexico: Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara.
