• South Amboy Opens New Ferry Terminal After Decades-Long Effort (tapinto.net) — South Amboy has officially opened its long-awaited $50 million ferry terminal, creating a new multimodal hub that links local parking and the NJ Transit rail station directly to New York City service. Local and state leaders say the project, decades in the making, will expand commuting options, boost waterfront redevelopment, and attract new jobs, residents, and visitors to South Amboy's Raritan Bay shoreline.
