Man Injured as Truck Collides With Snow Plow in South Brunswick
The driver was rushed to Princeton Hospital after his pick-up collided with a state snowplow on Rt. 130 at 9:35 a.m. in South Brunswick Twp.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Traffic has been extremely light in South Brunswick Township, but there has been one accident so far in the storm: A pick-up truck collided with a state snowplow on Rt. 130 at Stults Road at 9:35 a.m., police said.
Since the accident just happened moments ago, police and EMS workers are still at the scene, said Capt. James Ryan. The driver of the pickup was a 45-year-old man from Maryland. He suffered a leg injury and was transported by EMS to Princeton Hospital, police said. The truck appeared to be unable to stop due to the slick road conditions and rear-ended the snow plow. "Traffic is extremely light, which is good," said Ryan. "Most people appear to be heeding the warnings and waiting out the storm."
