Road crews in Cranbury struggling, police say.

South Brunswick, NJ - South Brunswick police report more than a dozen motor vehicle accidents since the storm started, as well as several vehicles stuck in the snow, as of noon Saturday. Meanwhile, road crews in Cranbury say they are struggling to keep up with the storm.
As of 10:45 a.m., 11.5 inches has been recorded in South Brunswick, according to the National Weather Service. Cranbury has gotten 9.3 inches, as of 10 a.m.

The storm will get worse before it gets better: South Brunswick is expected to get as much as 20 inches of snow by the time the storm ends.
Police in Cranbury say road crews are struggling to keep up with the storm and working feverishly to keep primary roadways clear for emergency vehicles and essential personnel. Numerous stranded vehicles are reported in South Brunswick and Cranbury, many of which are 4x4’s. These stranded vehicles are delaying the efforts of road crews, police say.

Fortunately, no power outages have been reported yet in South Brunswick township, police said.
Police ask all residents to stay off the roads until they are cleared.
