"Everyone from Jamesburg is coming in and asking, 'Did you see the winner?' And then they are blaming me for not selling them the ticket!"

Jamesburg, NJ - Jae Park, the owner of the 7-11 in Jamesburg, said he was shocked when officials from the NJ state lottery walked into his store Thursday morning and told him he had sold a $1 million Powerball ticket.
“I said ’Ohh!’ I was so surprised, so shocked and happy,” Park told Patch. “One of my customers bought a $1 million ticket — that’s a big thing. Everyone in Jamesburg is happy.”
Ever since news broke that Park’s store sold a big winner, the 7-11 at 171 Buckelew Avenue has been inundated with people all day, he said. News crews have been camped out in his parking lot, hoping the winner will come into the store.
