3 Home Break-ins, 1 Attempt in North Brunswick

North Brunswick, NJ - Nov. 25 through Nov. 30 saw two break-ins and two more attempted break-ins in North Brunswick, according a report on MyCentralJersey.com. Three of the incidents involved window screens being removed in an attempt to crawl into the home.
Sometime during the day on Nov. 25, a home was broken into on Deer Brook Boulevard. The resident said she returned home and found $4,000 worth of jewelry missing from her bedroom, police said. A safe also was taken. She locked all the doors when she left, but when she returned home the back door was unlocked. The screen to an office window had been taken off, and was found leaning on her shed.
Sometime between Nov. 25 and Nov. 30, a resident on Hawthorne Road said the front door to the home was forced open, and several gold bracelets were stolen, according to MyCentralJersey.com.

A man on Hemingway Drive told police that four window screens were taken off his house sometime during the day on Nov. 27. Nobody got inside, as all the windows were locked. A neighbor told police a screen had also been removed from her home.
