If you stored anything at Public Storage on Rt. 1 at Deans Lane, you'll be getting called.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - A burglary occurred sometime Tuesday night at the Public Storage facility at 3825 Rt. 1 South, where 43 storage units were broken into. The facility is located near Deans Lane and near Royal Oaks.

The break-in was actually discovered by a customer Wednesday morning: The customer arrived to the storage facility at 8:20 a.m to find the front gate open and the windows to the main office damaged. Officers went through the facility and discovered 43 different units had been broken into. The suspects cut the locks or bars off each of the storage units to gain entry, police said.

The business is now contacting the owners of the storage units to see what, if anything, was stolen from each unit. Anyone with information is asked to call South Brunswick Police at (732) 329-4646.
