5,300 Still Without Power In South Brunswick Thursday Morning

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Incredibly, an estimated 5,300 people in South Brunswick remain without power as of 10 a.m. Thursday morning, as the Township and the state try to dig itself out from a truly devastating storm. That number went up from last night, when 4,800 people lost electricity. PSE&G did not give an estimated restoration time.

If you need to get warm or need a charging station, the South Brunswick Senior Center is open and running on a generator. Please go there. The Senior Center is located at 540 Ridge Road.

The damage is extensive around the Township. Schools and Township offices remain closed today. You can email police@sbtnj.net for any storm related non-emergency issues. Public work crews have been working around the clock to remove downed trees and clear roads of snow.
