The 7th Annual "Sisterhood of the Travelling Prom Dress" Event!

Many girls may not attend prom this year because of the high costs associated with the event. But most every girl wants to have that perfect prom, one filled with wonderful memories. She wants to go to prom in the dress of her dreams and feel like a princess for the evening. The Viking Closet wants to make this dream a reality for all high school girls. The "Closet" is a student/staff managed (free store), within South Brunswick high school that collects and distributes donated clothing and accessories. This year we are hosting our 7th Annual Sisterhood of the Travelling Prom Dress Event!
Last year we collected almost 400 dresses, over 150 pieces of jewelry, 30 purses, and many prom shoes, all thanks to our generous donors! Over 100 girls were able to receive the dress of their dreams! This years prom event will take place after school from 2:45 to 6:00 on Tuesday, 3/6, Wednesday, 3/7, and Thursday, 3/8 in the actual Viking Closet. This year, the "Sisterhood of the Travelling Prom Dress" event will be open to ANY high school girl, grades 9-12 in New Jersey, who would like to get a free dress. Over 500 All students must show their school's ID to enter the event. Along with the free dresses and accessories, we will have snacks, a photo booth, a movie, a goodie bag (while supplies last), a free raffle on site for Coach Bags, Vera Bradley, Spirit wear, College wear, and much more!
