'90+ Birthday Bash' Celebrates Senior Residents In Middlesex County

The luncheon celebrating residents aged 90 and older was recently held at the South Brunswick Senior Center.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick recently welcomed senior residents from the township, Plainsboro, Monroe, Jamesburg and Cranbury for a special luncheon celebrating residents aged 90 and older.

The “90+ Birthday Bash,” hosted on Friday, honored residents aged 90 and older, recognizing their lifetime of experiences, contributions, and dedication to their families and communities.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship, entertainment, birthday celebrations, and lunch alongside fellow seniors, family
members, caregivers, Mayor Charlie Carley, members of the Township Council, and Dawn Neglia, Director of the South Brunswick Senior Center.

Hosted at the South Brunswick Senior Center, the event "highlighted the township’s continued commitment to supporting and celebrating older adults throughout the region," officials said.

“South Brunswick is honored to host this meaningful celebration recognizing some of the most remarkable members of our community,” said Mayor Charlie Carley.

“These residents have witnessed generations of change and helped shape the communities we know today," Carley continued. "It was a privilege to celebrate their lives and contributions.”

The event brought together seniors from neighboring communities in a warm and festive atmosphere focused on appreciation, connection, and community spirit, officials said.

Family members, caregivers and staff also joined in recognizing the honorees and sharing in the celebration.

South Brunswick officials thanked the South Brunswick Senior Center staff, volunteers, and partnering organizations who helped make the event possible.
