SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A missing, endangered woman has been found with help from a township resident, South Brunswick Police said.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, the police department put out an alert seeking the public's help to find a missing woman.
She was last seen in the Kingsland Circle area and reported missing by her family at 6:30 p.m.
According to police, she suffers from medical issues that can alter her mental capacity.
At 8:55 a.m. on Monday, South Brunswick Police sent out another alert, which said that the woman was located at the South Brunswick Public Library after a township resident recognized her from their previous Nixle alert.
Since the woman has been found, Patch is not including her identity in this story to protect her and her family's privacy.
"Public assistance was critical in this investigation, and we appreciate the community’s quick response and willingness to help us safely locate the missing individual," the police department said. "Thank you to everyone who assisted with this investigation."
