JAMESBURG, NJ — Two people died and three others were injured in a house fire early Sunday morning, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said.

First responders found a 39-year-old woman resident, who was taken to Old Bridge Medical Center for treatment, Prosecutor Linda Estremera said.

Sandra Dutcher, 67, of Jamesburg, was found inside the house with serious injuries and was pronounced dead en route to the hospital, officials said. A third resident was found unresponsive inside the house and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to Estremera.

While the investigation is ongoing, a preliminary investigation indicates the fire is not suspicious in nature, and foul play is not suspected, officials said.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is active and continuing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Jorge Camargo of the Jamesburg Police Department at (732) 521-0011 or Detective Stephanie Redline of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office at (732) 745-3316.
