Tesla Lands In Kitchen After Crashing Through South Brunswick Home

A 68-year-old Plainsboro man was treated for minor injuries after the crash, police said.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 68-year-old Plainsboro man suffered minor injuries Friday after the Tesla he was driving crashed through a garage and into the kitchen of a home on Pheasant Run, township police said.

South Brunswick police, EMS, and the Monmouth Junction and Kingston fire departments responded to the scene at 11:01 a.m. Friday, according to police.

According to police, the driver appeared to have suffered a medical condition before the crash.

The crash also caused a small gas leak, and nearby homes were briefly evacuated as a precaution.

Code inspectors will determine when it is safe for residents to reoccupy the home, according to police.
