A Toms River man is facing charges after a road rage encounter in Lakewood turned violent, leaving the other driver knocked unconscious. Police say it started with a crash, and escalated fast, causing the victim to lose consciousness.

Two men died in separate paddle boarding incidents at Morris County lakes this weekend, less than 24 hours apart. Separate incidents, one in Mount Olive and one at Hopatcong State Park, left a 41-year-old and a 24-year-old dead. Authorities are still working to determine what happened.

A Passaic man was charged with DWI and assault by auto after police say he plowed into two parked Clifton police vehicles on Route 21 early Sunday, according to a media report. One officer suffered a head injury, another had to dive over a concrete divider to avoid being hit, and both the suspect's SUV and a patrol car caught fire, News 12 reports.
A motorcyclist died Friday night after being ejected in a collision with a vehicle on the White Horse Pike near Route 30 and South Odessa Avenue, according to media reports. The motorcycle was traveling west when a vehicle exited a driveway without yielding and struck it; the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle were not injured. The victim's name has not been released, NJ.com reports.
Two people died from gunshot wounds early Sunday morning in Cumberland County, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said. Millville police responded to the 800 block of N. High Street around 3:40 a.m. for a report of gunfire and found Ashley Brown, 32, of Millville, and Andy Steven Brazil, 32, of Vineland, suffering from gunshot wounds; both died.

The Hopewell Valley Regional School District athletic director faces Pennsylvania charges after police say he was caught on home surveillance video peering into a young woman's bedroom window in Plumstead Township on Aug. 6. He remains on leave from the district.
