MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — Middlesex County's Picture Middlesex County photo contest is back for fall. Residents have until Thursday, Nov. 19, to share photos and videos of life and nature around the county.
A panel of judges will pick the winners. Their photos and videos will be shown at future county events and used in marketing materials.
"As we welcome the fall season, the Picture Middlesex County contest gives residents an opportunity to capture and share what makes this time of year so special across our County — from the vibrant colors of our parks and open spaces to the traditions and community moments that bring people together," said Middlesex County Commissioner Director Ronald G. Rios.
"It is always exciting to see the County through the eyes of our residents and discover the places, people, and experiences that make this community special," Rios said. "I encourage everyone to get out, take a photo or video, and show us what fall looks like in Middlesex County."
The contest is open to amateurs and professionals of all ages. Entrants 17 and younger need a parent or guardian's consent on the entry form.
Photos and videos must be taken in Middlesex County during the contest period, which runs from Sept. 10 through Nov. 19, 2026. Each person can submit up to two photos or videos in each category. Videos must be 30 seconds or shorter.
