SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Drivers who use Ridge Road at night should plan another route this week.
PSE&G will mill and pave Ridge Road between Schalks Crossing Road and Heathcote Road, including where it crosses Route 1, according to the township. The work begins Wednesday, Oct. 28, and is scheduled to continue for four nights.
Ridge Road will be closed while crews are working, from about 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. A detour will be posted.
Crews will accommodate residents who need access to their homes as best they can, officials said. Drivers should follow the directions of police and other traffic controllers in the area.
