SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Families in South Brunswick can look at stars, planets and constellations without waiting for the sun to go down.
The South Brunswick Public Library is hosting "The Sky Tonight: A Family Planetarium Experience" on Saturday, Nov. 21, in the gym at the South Brunswick Community Center, 124 New Road, Monmouth Junction.
"Step inside a giant inflatable planetarium for an immersive tour of the night sky!" the library said in its event listing.
Guests will get a guided tour of the stars, constellations and planets visible overhead, along with stories and facts about the night sky.
The program runs twice, at 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The event is open to all ages.
Registration is required, and the library said every attendee needs their own registration, including children. Families should register their whole party for just one session, since duplicate registrations will be deleted. Space is limited, and anyone not included in a registration isn't guaranteed entry.
Arriving on time matters, too. "Once the program begins, we will not be able to admit late arrivals," the library said.
As of Nov. 6, the library's event page listed the program as full.
