In addition, citizens will learn about crime scene processing, defensive tactics and internal affairs.
The Academy will culminate with a day of practical exercises where students will handle simulated motor vehicle stops, disputes and other realistic scenarios. The Academy will start on March 6. Classes will be held every Wednesday night in the training center at police headquarters for 11 weeks from 6:30 p.m. - 9:3 p.m. There will be no class on April 24 for Spring Break.
