A New Hampshire man and woman were stopped on the NJ Turnpike southbound in Cranbury Saturday.

Cranbury Township, NJ - A New Hampshire man and woman were both high on drugs when NJ State Troopers pulled them over on the Turnpike Saturday — and found $18,000 worth of drugs and guns, including an AR-15 assault rifle, inside their car, police said.

At 6:23 a.m. Saturday, March 5, Trooper Erik Tapia pulled over a 2010 Hyundai at milepost 69.2 on the Turnpike southbound in Cranbury Township.

The woman, Sloane Page, 31, of Henicker, N.H. was driving, and Troy Gagnon, 29, of Nashua, N.H., was in the passenger seat, police said. Troopers searched the car and inside, found a 9mm handgun, an AR-15 assault rifle, an expandable baton and high-capacity magazines. They also found multiple boxes of ammunition, hollow point ammunition, marijuana, crack cocaine and prescription pills, they charge. All the weapons had been reported stolen, detectives later learned.
