The U-14 Asteroids closed the spring travel soccer season with a 1-0 win over Ewing West End.

The U-14 Asteroids closed the spring travel soccer season with a 1-0 win over Ewing West End. Miles Anglin scored in the final minute of play to upend Ewing.

The play began with Matt Golden’s fearless run down the right side of the field and cross to Aakash Muthu. Muthu took the pass and dropped it off to Anglin who used some fancy footwork to break free from the defender and drive home the winning shot.

The victory was due to solid teamwork throughout the game. The offense was lead by strikers Elijah Suggs and Muthu while wingers Adam Booker, Danny Kuriakose, and Momo Cissokho continually applied pressure on Ewing’s defense.
