SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — On Sunday morning, a Kendall Park man beat and tried to choke an elderly man he was related to, police said.
At 8:05 a.m. Sunday, South Brunswick police were called to a home on Holder Road in the Kendall Park section of the Township. When police got there, they found an elderly man bleeding from head wounds. Police also located the suspect, his 44-year-old son, in the home.
Police say that the son punched the older man, struck him with a mason jar, hit him with a stool and attempted to strangle the victim.
