After a three-week break from their schedule, the New Jersey Blaze men are gearing up to play FC Reading Revolution in their first of five remaining games, which will take place over the coming ten days.
With four of these five match-ups taking place away from home, this trip to Pennsylvania on July 8 at 7 p.m. will be one the Blaze hope to capitalize on in order to establish themselves, building up momentum for a close-season that will undoubtedly test the strength and depth of the South Brunswick squad.
FC Reading Revolution have proved to be a much stronger side than they were in 2010, now sitting just one point behind league leaders FC Sonic after ten games. With the Erie Admirals sitting three points behind them with two games in hand, a win is imperative for the hosts if they are to claim the Keystone Conference title before closing their season at home to Erie on July 10.

Meanwhile, the Blaze are looking to prove that the table does not do them justice, following a number of games where the New Jersey squad have found themselves unlucky not to claim more points in a number of close-fought match-ups.
On the same day, the Blaze women will be hoping to preserve their unbeaten streak of three games against league leaders the New York Athletic Club in their final home game at Harvest Woods Park at 7:30 p.m. Carrying the momentum of two successive 2-1 wins against Chelsea Metro and Penn Legacy Inferno, as well as a goalless draw against Chesapeake Charge, the girls have lost just one game in four at home - a 2-0 defeat against WPS hopefuls New York Fury.

Erwin van Bennekom, head coach of the Blaze women, has been delighted with the team's develop- ment during their inaugural season and believes that even greater things are to come. "We know that NYAC present one of our biggest challenges of the season, but we're excited to show them what we're made of," he said. "We're prepared to show them exactly what talent we have available to us this week."
