Blood Donations Needed In South Brunswick
The banks typically run low during the holiday season, and they need your help.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ— As the holiday season ramps up, many charities hold drives, including toy drives, canned food drives, coat drives. But the South Brunswick High School Red Cross Club is looking for something a little bit different: blood.
Blood banks typically run low around the holidays, and the SBHS Red Cross Club is holding an emergency holiday blood drive to help replenish the stocks. All types are needed.
The drive will be held on Dec. 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the South Brunswick Community Center.

High school students will earn 5 volunteer hours for giving and 3 for bringing a donor with them.
