Blood Drive Tuesday at South Brunswick Public Works Building

South Brunswick, NJ - FYI: The Red Cross is holding a blood drive at the South Brunswick Public Works building today, Tuesday, Dec. 22.

The blood drive goes from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at South Brunswick Public Works Building at 540 Ridge Road in Monmouth Junction.

Did you know? Blood supplies traditionally decline during the winter month, as people become busy with holidays, family and travel. The flu season also decreases the blood donation flow.

At the same time, the need for blood remains just as high as ever.

“We need all types: o-negative, b-negative, a-negative and types a and b, as well as platelet donors,” Red Cross spokeswoman Beth Toll said.
