"Cleats For Kids" Drive To Be Held In South Brunswick

Volunteers in South Brunswick and the surrounding area are collecting worn usable soccer cleats for children in Central America.

“Cleats For Kids” is a used soccer cleat drive in which volunteers collect worn, usable soccer cleats for less fortunate children in Central America.

Organizers are working with Soccer For All organization which is part of the MSSL Foundation a 501 c3 not-for profit organization.

There are multiple drop-off locations set up in the area:

South Brunswick Public Library at 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of town

The Field Sports Complex at 8 Cornwall Ct., East Brunswick

Ewing Sports Retail at 1325 U.S. 206 Skillman

Princeton Soccer Experience at 190 Witherspoon Street, Princeton

The Islamic Society of Central Jersey at 4145 Route 1, Monmouth Junction.

Volunteers are encouraging soccer clubs in Central Jersey and the greater soccer community to join the cause.

The collection runs through Oct. 31.
