Congresswoman, State Senators, Police Chief to Speak at South Brunswick Mosque Jan. 14

All are invited to a town hall and panel-style discussion next Saturday, Jan. 14 hosted by the Islamic Society of Central Jersey.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - All are invited to a town hall and panel-style discussion next Saturday, Jan. 14 hosted by the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. It will be attended by the South Brunswick Chief of Police Raymond Hayducka, several Township Council people, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman and state Senator Ray Lesniak and state Senator Linda Greenstein, all of whom will speak.

The Center writes: Join us we unite to celebrate and reaffirm our civil rights and civil liberties. Join us as we honor the rights of individuals to receive equal treatment (and to be free from unfair treatment or discrimination), advancement of equality for all people regardless of race, sex, age, disability, national origin, religion, or certain other characteristics. We stand united in these times, to protect and preserve those rights, and to send a clear message of "united we stand." This discussion will also educate members of our community on how we can be more involved in their neighborhoods as well as the larger community. Discussion around practical ideas that can be implemented on both the individual and community levels. We are unifiers. This event is to strengthen alliances. People of all faith communities are invited.
