Monroe Twp. Coronavirus Testing Site To Open Tuesday

Testing will begin Tuesday at MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road in Monroe. Testing is available Tuesday and Thursday; registration required.

MONROE, NJ — As of Monday morning, Middlesex County now has 158 cases of people testing positive for coronavirus/covid-19. There are positive Covid-19 cases in South Brunswick, Cranbury, East Brunswick, Edison, Old Bridge, Spotswood, Woodbridge and nearly every town in Middlesex County, as well as in Princeton and throughout Mercer County.

There is also a coronavirus testing site scheduled to open Tuesday in Monroe. This site is being advertised as "drive through," and people will be tested sitting inside their cars.

That testing site will be located at MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road in Monroe. Testing will be available Tuesday and Thursday of this week, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

You do not need a prescription, but pre-registration is required.

As we are seeing nationwide, there is a limited number of test kids, and those without appointments must wait in line. Patients must have COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, or have been exposed to an infected person. Pre-register at www.myinstadocmonroe.com or call 609-207-3220 to speak with a medical professional.

South Brunswick: As of Sunday night, it is now seven residents in South Brunswick who tested positive, six of whom are recovering at home under self-quarantine. Only one South Brunswick resident is hospitalized.

East Brunswick: 11 positive cases

Monroe: There are 12 positives cases in Monroe Township, from ages that range from people in their 20s to people in their 70s.

North Brunswick: Seven positive cases in North Brunswick

New Brunswick: There are three cases in New Brunswick

Middlesex borough: Middlesex borough received its first positive case over the weekend, a 61-year-old woman.
