Council Meeting: Here’s What’s On The Agenda For South Brunswick

From discussing ordinances to making appointments to the Human Relations Commission, the Council has a busy day Feb. 8.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — It's going to be a busy day as Council meets for a work session on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

Two ordinances are up for discussion, one that authorizes positions and providing for a pay plan for positions of the Township; and another to exceed the municipal budget appropriation limits and to establish a cap bank.

Marty Hammer of the Zoning Board has put in his resignation and the Council will make a decision on it.

There’s a seat available in the Human Relations Commission and the Council is expected to make an appointment to fill that seat.

The Council will also be appointing members to Municipal Alliance Against Substance Abuse.

The Council will then go into a closed session.

The meeting is expected to begin at 6 p.m. and will be held online via ZOOM.
