SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Good morning, neighbors. Welcome to another edition of the Monday manual, where we tell you what's happening in town this week.

Council Meeting

The Council will be meeting on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Here's the agenda.

Zoning Board

The township's Zoning Board had a meeting scheduled for Thursday, but it now stands canceled. No new date has been released yet.

Independence Day 2025 Fireworks

The South Brunswick Independence Day Celebration will be held on July 1, 6 p.m. at Crossroads South Middle School. There will be music, food, and lots of fun activities. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m. Rain Date is July 2

July 4 Closures

The Township will be celebrating Independence Day on Friday, July 4. All local municipal offcies will be closed.

Traffic Enforcement

To address recurring traffic safety concerns within the township, South Brunswick Police will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement through July 4:

  • West Side: Beekman Road - speeding, distracted driving, and failure to stop for pedestrians within crosswalks.
  • East Side: Davidsons Mill Road - speeding, distracted driving, and weight limit ordinance violations
