Crash Closes Promenade Boulevard At Rt. 1 In South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A motor vehicle crash has closed Promenade Boulevard Westbound at Route 1.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area for the next four hours and plan alternate routes.

The westbound lanes of Promenade Boulevard will be closed for the next four hours, and eastbound will be reduced to a single lane.

Update: Cleanup continues following the crash on Promenade Boulevard. The road will be kept closed to traffic until at least 5 p.m., police said. Eastbound traffic is down to a single lane, but is passable. .
