Dayton Tree Lighting Is Sunday, Dec. 10

All are invited to the 15th annual holiday celebration sponsored by the Dayton Village Citizens Coalition and South Brunswick Garden Club.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — All are invited to the fifteenth annual holiday lighting celebration sponsored by the Dayton Village Citizens Coalition and South Brunswick Garden Club. Kingston has a tree lighting as well; more info. on that to come.

The Dayton Christmas tree lighting will be Sunday, December 10 this year from 3:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The festivities will be held in the park next to La Taverna in the Dayton section of South Brunswick Township (375 Georges Road/the 5-points intersection in Dayton).

Starting at 3:45 p.m.: Boy Scouts and others hang natural ornaments for wildlife (please make and bring) at various locations around the “5 Points” in Dayton.

4:15: Singing and music at Park next to La Taverna

4:45 p.m.: A surprise “cool” guest arrives with special treats

4:55 p.m.: Tree Lighting

5:00-5:30 p.m.: Hot chocolate and cookies at the First Presbyterian Church Hall across street from the tree lighting
