The South Brunswick Police Department will be accepting unused and expired medications for disposal during an event on Saturday, April 24.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Police Department will be accepting unused and expired medications for disposal during an event on Saturday.
Residents can safely dispose of unused or expired medications during the “Operation Take Back NJ” event.
Medication in the original container or removed from its container can be disposed of directly into the drug disposal box.

If disposing of in the original container, police have asked residents to remove the prescription label if it contains any personal identifying information.
Liquid products, like cough medicine, should remain sealed in their original container. The depositor should ensure that the cap is tightly sealed to prevent any leakage.

Syringes and other sharp instruments will not be accepted. Anyone entering the building to drop off medications is required to wear a mask.
