Distracted Driving Forum, Traffic Enforcement: South Brunswick This Week

Here's what's happening in South Brunswick this week:

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — According to the AAA Foundation, nearly 60 percent of serious teen crashes are caused by distracted driving. Additionally, young drivers (ages 16-20) are 17 times more likely to die in a crash when they have a blood alcohol concentration of .08 percent than when they have not been drinking.

To discuss teen districted driving and driving under the influence, the South Brunswick Police Department is hosting a presentation at the high school.

The keynote speaker will be Joel Feldman, a Philadelphia lawyer who founded EndDD.org (End Distracted Driving) after his daughter Casey was killed by a distracted driver in Ocean City, NJ in 2009.
