Driver Trapped After Crash Overturns Vehicle On Route 535 In South Brunswick
Firefighters extricated a driver briefly trapped inside an overturned vehicle, police said.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A two-vehicle crash overturned one vehicle and briefly trapped its driver on Route 535 near New Jersey Turnpike Exit 8A Monday morning, closing the roadway for approximately 30 minutes, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 11:42 a.m. According to police, the crash between two vehicles forced one vehicle to overturn, briefly trapping the driver. Monmouth Junction Fire Department personnel extricated the driver from the overturned vehicle, police said.
South Brunswick EMS transported the driver to Penn Medicine at Princeton with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Route 535 reopened after a roughly 30-minute closure. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
