Election 2022: Voter Registration Deadline In Middlesex County
The last day to register to vote in the 2022 general election is Tuesday.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — Tuesday is the voter registration deadline for those who plan to vote in the November 8 general election, Middlesex County said.
Registration must be completed on the state’s online voter registration portal, or submitted to the Board of Elections, or by visiting the county clerk's office.
“Voting is one of our most sacred rights – and responsibilities – as citizens. It is the tool we use to shape our communities and preserve our democracy,” Middlesex County Clerk Nancy J. Pinkin said.

“Your vote is important. Middlesex County is committed to making voting as convenient and accessible as possible for residents by providing early in-person voting and Vote by Mail options in addition to traditional General Election Day in-person voting. Voters should avail themselves of the option that best fits their needs.”

- The deadline to apply by mail for a Mail-In Ballot is Nov. 1.
- The deadline to apply in person for a Mail-In Ballot is Nov. 7, by 3 p.m.
In order to register to vote, one must be at least 17 years of age and a U.S. citizen. Individuals who are at least 18 years of age on Election Day will be permitted to vote.
