Basic/Beginner Excel Class

This hands-on class on Microsoft Excel 2002 is being offered by local Ed Tech Specialist, Lauriene Tschang.

This is a two-session course being offered on Saturday morning July 14 and 28, 2012 starting at 10:15 a.m.  You must complete the class on July 14 to attend the class on July 28. Seating is limited; registration is required.

  • Starting Excel
  • Difference between Worksheets and Workbooks
  • Saving a Workbook
  • Previewing and Printing
  • Entering Data
  • Changing Data
  • Formatting the Way Data Looks
  • Working with Columns and Rows
  • Inserting Columns and Rows
  • Using Formulas
  • Help Utility

The class will focus on the 2002 version of the software, which is what is installed on the computers in the Computer Lab.
