Mixed-Level Yoga

The first Fall 2011 session of Mixed-Level Yoga will be Sept. 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6 and 13.  The class meets from 7-8:30 p.m. in Meeting Room A/B.

This class is appropriate for all levels of yoga experience EXCEPT brand new beginners. Please be familiar with sun salutations before attending class. Asana variations will be presented so that students have options in working at their individual level. This class explores asana alignment, vinyasa flow, pranayama, meditation, deep relaxation (savasana), and basic yoga philosophy. Please dress in comfortable exercise clothes and bring a large towel and a yoga "sticky" mat with you to class. The room is often cool so please bring a sweat shirt.

In person registration will begin at the Information Desk on Aug. 27.  The five session class is $50 which is payable at the time of registration in cash or by check made payable to The Friends of the South Brunswick Public Library.

The second Fall 2011 session is November 3, 10, 17, December 1 and 8.   Registration for this class will begin on October 22. There is a beginner level class offered on Monday evenings and a Deep Relaxation and Meditation class will be offered on October 27 and on December 15.  Registration for these one-time only classes will start on October 15 and December 3 respectively.
