NJ PARENT ADVOCATES invites you to a FREE back to school workshop:

"Preparing for the New School Year"

Find out what's happening in South Brunswickfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Dust off that IEP and get ready for a new year!

The IEP is the one document that your child's teacher must read according to the law. They are supposed to read it. Many do read it, but remember they read 30 - 100 other kid's IEPs as well and they often get blurred together. Also, many school districts only give the teachers the supplemental services and modifications page to read so they don't always know what kind of learner your child is.

Learn Techniques:

  • To start the new school year on a Positive Note.
  • Establish a good rapport with the staff.
  • Build a stronger partnership.

Join Victoria Romanienko, Special Education Advocate, for a discussion on how to ensure YOUR child has every opportunity for meaningful progress and to achieve success in the new school year!
