Explore Mars At This South Brunswick Public Library Event

NASA Ambassador Mike Buttitta will host a virtual presentation on the ongoing exploration of Mars.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – If you’re interested in all things space and are curious to know what’s happening on Mars, this is the perfect event for you.

The South Brunswick Public Library is hosting a virtual presentation with NASA Ambassador Mike Buttitta on the latest information about the ongoing exploration of Mars.

Mike Buttitta, local NASA Solar System Ambassador, and STEM Coordinator in the Office of Innovation for the Division of Teaching and Learning Services will talk about the latest scientists have learned so far about Mars from the current exploration efforts.

NASA currently has two rovers - Curiosity and Perseverance - one lander - InSight, and one helicopter named Ingenuity exploring the surface of Mars. There is also an international fleet of eight orbiters studying the Red Planet from above including three NASA orbiters.

Join the Virtual presentation on Dec. 16 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., to find out what more we now know and where we are heading.
