Extra South Brunswick Patrols On Heathcote Rd. Starting Monday
Drive safely: Starting Monday morning, both Wheeler Road in Kendall Park and Heathcote Road in Kingston will now have extra police cars.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Last week, we told you that South Brunswick police will be choosing a new road in the Township every week for extra police patrols. This is part of a new initiative in 2018 by the local police to crack down on speeding, tailgating and other dangerous driving habits of New Jersey residents.
This past week they were on Wheeler Road, where they pulled over 27 cars during the enhanced enforcement. That's out of 450 motor vehicle stops total in South Brunswick Township last week. If you think there isn't a need for the stepped-up enforcement, consider that there were 34 crashes total in the Township last week, as well.
This coming week, starting Monday, Feb. 5, extra patrols will be out on Heathcote Road in the Kingston section, police announced. They will also remain on Wheeler. The extra patrols start Monday morning, Feb. 5.
