Extra South Brunswick Police On These Roads Next Week
For the week of Feb. 26, extra South Brunswick patrol cars will be on these three roadways, looking for the following violations:

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick police department is continuing its year of enhanced traffic enforcement. Every week, throughout 2018, the police department will go to a new area in town and have extra squad cars on the roadway, looking for people speeding, driving dangerously, improperly parking and other issues.
South Brunswick police started this initiative in response to resident complaints. They say the enforcement has resulted in more tickets being issued and, ultimately, will keep South Brunswick roadways safer for everyone, including children, runners, walkers and cyclists.
For the week of Feb. 26, extra patrol cars will be on the following roadways, looking for the following:

Location: Hickory Ridge (Pheasant Run) Issue: Improper parking, unregistered vehicles and miscellaneous violations. Times: 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Location: Rt. 1 shoulder Issue: Shoulder usage before and after posted hours of operation. Times: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Mapleton Preserve Issue: Dirt bikes and four wheelers riding on property. Vehicles cutting through property during rush hour. Times: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
