Update: Authorities Release Name Of Woman Killed In South Brunswick
The woman was approached by someone, who shot her, then fled from the parking lot on Docks Corner Road, authorities said.

A 24-year-old New Brunswick woman was killed Wednesday morning in the parking lot of a company on Docks Corner Road in South Brunswick, authorities said.
Around 7 a.m., Alicia Martinez-Izaguirr of New Brunswick was approached by the killer in the parking lot, authorities said. That person shot her, then fled, according to a news release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and South Brunswick Chief Raymond Hayducka.
South Brunswick Detective Monica Shearer and Detective Craig Marchak of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office are handling the investigation.

No arrests have been made, but the investigation is continuing.
