Fight at Brick Championship Game, But All Quiet for South Brunswick
"There were several thousand fans between South Brunswick and Old Bridge," says Captain James Ryan. "There were no problems."

A fight between adults and students broke out at the Brick vs. Jackson championship game Saturday at Rutgers, where several parents allegedly punched and assaulted students. Watch a video of the large brawl. One woman even said her daughter was punched by an adult man, and now has a black eye because of it.
But there were no similar incidents at the South Brunswick Vikings championship game, a police spokesman tells Patch.
“I was at the game, as was Chief of Police Raymond Hayducka. There were several thousand fans between South Brunswick and Old Bridge. There were no problems. Both groups have mutual respect,” Captain Jim Ryan of the South Brunswick Police told Patch Sunday. “It was a great game with several council people and the township manager, Bernie Hvozdovic, in attendance.”
