Fire At Sarah Court Home In South Brunswick
This fire broke out at 1:58 a.m. in the garage of a home on Sarah Court in the Deans section Sunday, police said.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A fire broke out at 1:58 a.m. Sunday morning at home on Sarah Court in the Deans section of South Brunswick, police said.
The fire started in the attached garage of the home. When South Brunswick police got there, followed by the Monmouth Junction Fire Department, all the residents were safely outside the home. Police say the aggressive attack by local volunteer firefighters meant the home was able to be saved.
That's a photo from the scene supplied by South Brunswick police. The South Brunswick Fire Marshal ruled the cause of the fire to be accidental, but police did not say exactly what caused it.

Firefighters were able to confine the majority of the fire to the attached garage, with a minor extension of the fire spreading to the adjoining rooms. The fire was put out in approximately 30 minutes, but firefighters remained on the scene until approximately 6 a.m. yesterday checking for hot spots.
More than 60 firefighters responded to the 2-alarm fire, including firefighters from Monmouth Junction, Kendall Park, Kingston, Jamesburg, Plainsboro and East Franklin.
