Food Pantry Drive in South Brunswick

The Islamic Society of Central Jersey will be holding a food pantry drive-through on Saturday from 12 pm to 2 pm.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ) announced it will be holding a food pantry drive-through on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., for families that need food.

Members from the community and the greater area, will receive pasta, spaghetti sauce, rice, canned goods, cooking oil, bread, frozen chicken and beef, along with fresh produce, milk and more.

ISCJ is located at 4145 Route 1, off of Promenade Boulevard.

The coronavirus pandemic has worsened food insecurity for low-income families, and efforts to combat the problem have fallen short.

The ISCJ will hold contactless food drives every Saturday, for the unforeseeable future.
