Son Of South Brunswick Car Dealer/Former New York Giant Rejects Plea Deal

Clint Benson, son of South Brunswick car dealer and former New York Giant Brad Benson, has rejected a plea deal that would have required him to serve about six years in jail before becoming eligible for parole.

Benson was arrested in 2013 for allegedly striking a man from behind with his vehicle after the man confronted him about his reckless driving, according to nj.com.

Brad Benson is a former offensive lineman with the New York Giants and was considered a pivotal member of the 1986 Super Bowl Giants team.

Bensoncurrently operates the Brad Benson Auto Group in South Brunswick, selling Hyundais and Mitsubishis. He's appeared in various television and radio commercials for his businesses, including an ad that featured Lawrence Taylor and another that parodied former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, according to Wikipedia.
